Family Group Records

Family Group Records are specific to individual families. They include information about parents and children. You should try to include information such as:

• Names
• Dates
• Locations of Birth, Marriage, or Deaths
• And any sources that you used to find this information

You can also include censuses and other non-vital record information to make your Family Group Record even more valuable and interesting. Sometimes you can even include pictures. 

You may need more than one page if the family had a lot of children. You should create a family group record for EACH couple on your pedigree. For someone who married more than once, you should create an additional Family Group Record for any additional marriages (especially if they involved children.)
